Safety Equipment
All fighters that participate in any training or combat event need to be wearing the proper safety equipment.
The list below is the minimum requirements for safety equipment. Items in this list are not authentic period equipment.
They serve the function of saftey only and must be plain or hidden beneath your clothing.
Note: All Weapons must pass a check from the Training Officer before being allowed on the field.

All weapons must have blunted edges 2mm thick
and have rounded points.
- Knee pads

Knee pads are a matter of personal preference for the wearer.
Keep in mind they must be concealable beneath your pants during events.
- Elbow pads

Elbow pads are a matter of personal preference for the wearer.
Keep in mind they must be concealable beneath your shirt during events.
- Leather Forearm Guards (Bracers)

Because Bracers are not Period,
do not embellish them with decorations or buckles.
They are to be tanned, brown, or black
with simple lacing to tighten them.
- Leather Plated Gloves

These are examples of leather work gloves with leather plating sewn onto them.
Because Plated gloves are not Period, do not embellish them with decoration.
